* Responsibilities:

1. Lead Time Optimization:

• Manage and optimize lead times to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Implement strategies to take full advantage of lead times, reducing delays and improving efficiency.

2. Supplier Negotiation:

• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

3. Problem Solving:

• Address and resolve any issues that arise during the procurement process, from sampling to mass production.
• Implement solutions to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences.

4. Communication:

• Maintain clear and effective communication with suppliers, sales teams, and other internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure alignment on order requirements and delivery timelines.

5. Order Management:

• Oversee the procurement process from the initial lab dip and strike-off stages to mass production.
• Ensure all orders meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

6. Quality Assurance:

• Work closely with the quality control team to ensure materials meet required standards.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of supplier performance.

7. Market Analysis:

• Stay informed about market trends, new materials, and advancements in the textile industry.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

* Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in textile, garment, or fashion merchandising.
• Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and lead time optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and act proactively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
