Job Description
* Main Responsibilities:
Conduct International and Domestic Purchasing Operations:
Communicate with suppliers both domestically and internationally to research, evaluate, and negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiation: Engage in detailed negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, including pricing, payment conditions, and delivery timelines. Aim to maximize value while minimizing costs.
Order Management:
- Order Tracking: Monitor the status of orders throughout the entire supply chain process. Ensure timely follow-up with suppliers to confirm order processing, shipping schedules, and delivery.
Import-Export Customs Procedures:
- Document Preparation: Prepare all necessary documentation for the import and export of goods, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other relevant papers.
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee the transportation and delivery of goods from suppliers to company facilities. Choose the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods while ensuring timely delivery.
* Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor‘s degree in relevant fields such as Economics, Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or similar disciplines.
Experience:
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing and import-export roles, preferably within the textile and fashion industry. A deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and requirements is essential.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, international trade laws, customs regulations, and logistics management
